Thank you for the very informative posts. It is true that fat on horses
hides a lot of conformational faults and structural defects. "Boney"
horses don't "show" as pretty, and often look worse in photographs. It
takes a good eye to see the horse, and not the pretty coat when looking
at a horse. Have you noticed pics of Secretariat in racing trim--looks
like a Thoroughbred. Later, at stud, pictures show him looking like a
Quarterhorse. Love all your posts; keep 'em coming! Renie
