High aluminum content

One of my fellow boarders had a hair analysis done on her
mare which is pasture boarded with mine.  The analysis came
b ack with an aluminum reading that was off the charts. The
vet who performed the analysis told her that here in the SE
this is very common...ie, aluminum is everywhere in the grass,
water, etc.
Does anyone know anything about this?  What would you give
a horse to counteract/neutralize aluminmum?  Thanks, Betty.
