flexible tree saddles (Circle Y)

Anyone out there with opinions (good, bad, or otherwise) on the flexible tree saddles (by Circle Y specifically or other brands)?  I am looking at trying one and possibly purchasing one (Circle Y) for my pasos - any input would be greatly appreciated.
