Have him try Eventers, on your horse. Also, make sure that your farrier knows how to apply the Natural Balanced method. This way your horse will not interfere if it is done right and do all changes slowly. Don't expect it to correct over one or two shoeings. Not having to roll toes or square hinds is important, although some farriers do this. If the balance is right, you will find it's not necessary to do so.
