barefoot question reply
Kimberly kmprice@grizzlydesign.com
Tammy,
The reason to care is because the only chance to reason with a guy like
this is by using his own logic. I don't know enough about the Strasser
process to point out the error to him, if he is making an error.
Otherwise, he is following their technique which does justify the pain
caused to the horse. Then there is no room for discussion, I simply
disagree and call it abuse instead of trying to get him to realize he is
not following what he says he believes in.
Bullying will not modify his behavior. They are footsore but not lame
(yet). Humane society will do nothing. I can either do nothing and turn
my eyes away, or try to reason with him if indeed, he is deviating from
the process.
Any useful sugestions would be appreciated.
Kimberly
Original Question
So my question is, what is the justifcation? Has he deviated from the
process? Would other barefoot advocates agree with his methods?
Tammy's Answer
Question #1...There wouldn't be any justifcations, if people like him
would keep their fads to themselves. Question #2...who cares! Question
#3...Oh, I'm sure his followers will deviate and justifiy for him. He
won't have too. That's the best thing about group followers!
