I will have to agree with Barbara McCrary.  I have ridden the Tevis Trail, 
the Big Horn Trail and most of the Old Dominion Trail.  The Swanton-Pacific 
100 certainly ranks right up there with the big ones and I would be hard 
pushed to say which is the most beautiful or the most difficult.  But the 
Swanton- Pacific certainly has the most varied scenery from deep redwood 
forests to ocean bluffs.  I think it also must rank 2nd only to Tevis in the 
number of riders participating.  Julie Suhr
