I remember reading sometime back that beet pulp is starting to be used in
feed for many other types of livestock and pets by feed companies. This
article projected that there might be a stress on the supply. I think this
was in the Southern States equine newsletter, "Mainpoints" but could be
wrong. As the big feed companies start to buy it up for use in feed it
could put a crimp on the supplies of "generic" beet pulp pellets or
shreaded beet pulp. Could that be what is being observed?
