When I was a kid, we learned (in 4-H) that a horse produced 7 to 9 tons of manure

a year.

When I've repeated that, people think I'm crazy... BUT,

That's pretty close to the 57 lbs per day stated by Laura (I think it was Laura).

I've really never heard any other references... all those little know facts!!.
