Vet Question - Ridecamp
You asked about the horse that pees alot. While it may be nothing more than
your horse likes to drink alot, this is a symptom of Cushing's disease.
Does your horse have any of the following: large, cresty neck or other fatty
deposits; excesive water drinking; voracious appetite; seems to thrive on a
minimal amount of food, or is very fat on a normal amount of food;
laminitis; cranky or sullen disposition; long and shaggy coat or failure to
shed? These are all symptoms of Cushing's.
