One more quack!

Basically, I agree. I also realize there are times when even an experienced
and utterly responsible rider has horse problems that gave no warning. I've
seen it happen to several riders over the years.
Barbara
Hi, Barbara. Please know that I didn't mean that. "**** "can happen to any of us, at any time. I simply meant that the vet can't always "save" us. I've made enough stupid mistakes in my life to finally realize that ultimately I am responsible for most of the things that happen to me. At the very least, I can't go around looking to blame a vet because my horse crashed. I totally understand that a horse can crash with the most experienced rider, and I know it could be me at my next ride. I'm sorry if you, or anyone else, misunderstood my point. I admire you very much and look up to you as a rider and ride manager. I just upsets me to see people taking cheap shots at someone else I respect and admire as one of the most knowledgeable and caring equine vets alive. No, Dave won't win any awards for tact, but that's not what I require in a ride vet. Thank you for listening, again. Cindy
