I have to echo the consent here;  I think it would be highly valuable in
conditioning horses to make that very big leap from 50 to 100 milers.

I rode the USET 80 mile ride in June and loved it.  No night riding, 
less stress on ride and horse and actually almost as much fun as 
a 100.  And it was FEI sanctioned!  In Europe, 80 mile rides are 
very popular and I can see why.  I think that if we got a few going 
here, they would become very popular.
