Good tips.  I agree that I'm probably being over-worried.  The "real"
hunters don't worry me, I think they know what they are doing.  But there
are so manys stories of people coming up from PHX to hunt and drink beer -
not necessarily in that order, and that many don't have a clue what they are
doing.  The true sportsmen I am not so concerned about.  Luckily I don't
have to worry (much) about bears, grizzlies and rattlesnakes.  Where I live
it is rare that I see anyone when I ride, glad I don't have to deal with the
mtn bikers and hikers on a daily basis.

I too have never heard of an actual case of someone getting shot, which
helps
