I live in N. Idaho, LOTS of hunters here where I ride. I always where 
hunters orange, either a vest or a shirt, something. Another good thing to 
do if the horse doesn't mind, wear bells. My friend puts bells on her 
breastcollar, that way hunters know your coming, and deer don't usually wear 
bells! Also, your white helmet can look a lot like a white-tailed deer 
running away! Sounds silly, but you'd be surprised. May be the only time its 
safer to NOT wear a helmet while riding, or at least cover it up.
