Maggie,

I don't know. If the pilots/attendents were trained for this (as one pilot said they were), the terrorists would have more resistance. I know they could not carry guns, but ...something! Stun guns, maybe. They are now talking about Air Marshals being on flights. So training and expertise would be the answer.
