Re: RC: Stopping to poop
I have the same problem with my horse. The person that broke him let him
start that. This is a big problem in the other disciplines that want to
ride. All of them will count off for coming out of gait or lack of
impulsion. Stopping to pee is different.
Give that mare a little calf (or heel) and move her out. Its very bad form.

I think I have an odd ball too. My mare insists that she has to STOP to
go potty! Once in a blue moon I can keep her moving while she poops, but
only if she is being left behind! Any thoughts? Even on the lounge line
she MUST stop and will NOT go forward till she is done. I haven't had the
heart to pop her to get her moving once she stops if I know she is going
to go potty. Should I? On a ride, this could cost us a LOT of time!
Thanks list!
