!0 days to 2 weeks.  Those supplements are not allowed in AERC 
either!!!!  They drug test positive for anti inflammatories.
In ECTRA you cannot use artificial heated or cooled water.  Hence no 
ice in water or ice water from cooler.  No leg wraps of any kind.  
Only fly spray - no SWAT or mediciation of any kind, basically.
Fly spray, feed, regular daily dose of vitamins, electrolytes.  
Apples, carrots, hay, water.
The big difference is AERC  you can use ice and leg protectors and 
Desitin.  ECTRA you can't.
Have fun.  I feel ECTRA is a good way to learn the sport and how to 
rate your horse.
