Beet Pulp

I believe that Purina's Equine Senior is mostly beet pulp.
Very palatable.  Swells up about 4x volume when you wet it.
Makes a great post-ride grain slurpy.  I've never found any
sand in it, and if there's animal parts in it, they grind them
up too fine to notice :-).  Around here (Massachusetts),
it's $10 for a 50lb bag.  It is available nationwide with
pretty good quality control.
