Poker Run, Decatur,TX/October

Just want to let everyone know that my rescue, H.O.R.S.E.S. in Texas, is
having a fundraiser, a Poker Run, at the L.B.J. Grasslands in Decatur,
Texas on Saturday, October 27th.  Many of you are already familiar with
the Grasslands, as there are some endurance and competitive trail rides
held there each year.

We will be riding the yellow trail.  There will be 7 stations along the
trail.  As the rider passes the station, they collect one playing card.
When everyone gets back to camp, whoever has the best poker hand wins.
First prize is a saddle.  What we are actually giving is a gift
certificate for $700 towards a saddle from Horse World in Ft. Worth.
Hopefully, some saddles from there will be on display at the ride, but
if not, they will be able to be viewed on the 'net and shipping is free
anywhere in the U.S.  The saddles come with dealer and manufacturer
warranty.  We have a lot of other prizes to give away, too.
