Hello Deb,

My DeeDee, red chestnut, 15 yrs, has a "nodule" about the size of a pea, on the upper crest of her neck on left side.  She has had it for yrs and it never gets bigger or causes any probs.  Just a little lump there.  Is that how your mares nodule began?  Do you really mean "blew out"?  Got bigger /erupted?  I may have vet take it off anyway.
