Sorry to dissapoint all the Hank Hills of the world, but I'm not doing
propane.
Just too damn dangerous for my blood. I'm already dealing with gasoline in
my truck and generator, I'm not willing to mix my petrochemicals in the
event of a highway wreck (and the idea of having a bomb right up next to my
favorite horse gives me the heebee-jeebies).
Besides, have you tried to find propane out in the middle of nowhere? I've
been to a couple of rides in Oklahoma and Texas where they tell you on the
ride form to fill up at so-and-so's as it's the last gas before you get to
camp.
As for the arranging for generators and non-generator space at a ride, how
about a box on the form that states your preferance?
Might give the ride managers an idea of what's needed. I don't know about
y'all but I'm sending in my ride forms months in advance, so they'd have
plenty of time to figure out where to stash people.
Just a few suggestions. . .
