I live in TX and we have our herd freeze branded. We designed our own
brand, went to the local Records Department and looked through the brand
books to be sure no one else had the same design. Registered our brand.
Cost $11 for 10 years. In fact, we have to renew next month. Our farrier
made the brand from our design and our vet did the actual branding. Here
it costs from $15 to $25 per horse.
