Saarbruken Germany to Rome Italy in 1899

Hello,  a book published in 1900 w/ photos just came my way about a ride of 1360 km. in 12 days i think in 1899.  The book is in German and i'm awaiting anxiously a translation.  The ride was done by a German Nobleman riding an English Thoroughbred.  All these rides i never knew about somebody ought to write a book. tomsites
