Acorns and health problems

Sorry to cross post this,  but it is very important.

Acorns can cause founder in some horses/mules/donkeys.
Acorns can cause hives in some horses/mules/donkeys.

Please be on the look out for telltale signs:
founder--standing with front feet way out in front, and the back legs
way under the body.
hives--bumps all over the body,  sometimes just in certain areas.
