Of course we all know that AERC rules say equines must be at least 48 MONTHS
to do limited distance (Which is 25-35 miles) & at least 60 MONTHS to do 50
miles or more. So if someone KNOWS a rider has an underage horse, and you
don't want to file a protest, just cringe your way on over to the ride
manager or head vet. They can require the rider to show proof of the horses
age or examine the horse. If the vet feels they are physically immature they
can refuse to let them start.
Again, the rules are in place folks.......
