Re: RC: Charges only pertain to AERC members



Charges mean a rider "Charged" with purposefully riding to the point of death.
Penalize means AERC to satisfy itself and membership that if this occurs that
this person will not be permitted to be involved in any future rides for a time
AERC deems appropriate or not ever.

I was un aware the AERC had no "teeth" as most local and state humane laws don't
either unless it's a dog.  But someone said that AERC did not have a hearing on
a protest lodged by an AERC member because the person whom she thought had
violated the rules was not an AERC member.  That is what I understood.  I see
that the AERC can remove a rider from competition if proven "guilty".  I stand
corrected
