horse lying down
dianne edward_dianne_verhage@hypermax.net.au
Hi Everyone
I have a tricky one for you -
I have always pulled my horses' front legs forward after girthing up to
prevent wrinkles under the girth. I recently bought a 10 year old Arab
mare to do endurance with and when I pulled the left leg forward yesterday
she sort of leaned back (like I've had many horses do) but when I pulled
the right leg forward, she lay right down!! Does anyone know why she did
this?
Please can you send me a copy of your reply as I don't always have time to
read the archives.
Thanks heaps
Dianne
