Muscat is great grand sire of two of my horses. But my question is: what is “type?”
I probably have a different definition than anyone else. My horses have been accused
of not being pure Arab because they are so big and have long legs. I think they are
gorgeous and I love Russian breeding, too. But they are certainly not the model
of the Bedouin war mare (actually I think they are much better built!).

Hi Kathy
Look at the pics of Hal and his get on my web site and then tell me they
don't have type. There are those individuals in ANY of the breeding
programs who don't have type-- please, please don't generalize. And
let's not forget that the majority of Russians brought over by Howie
Kale in the first importation of them were all shown at Halter--- Muscat
ring a bell? :-) Want to talk type?
Bette who LOVES her Russian Arabians and cried when she saw Muscat in
person at Scottsdale
