Since I have had so many people asking me about CMK Arabians since my post I 
will tell you of an upcoming event for those in the Northwest. 

Northwest CMK/Al Khamsa Symposium. August 18 & 19, 2001 in McMinville, 
Oregon. Michael Bowling will be doing his fabulous slide presentations and he 
will be talking about the latest research pertaining to mitochondrial DNA and 
the surprising new revelations about 
some CMK mare lines.  Also Carol Lyons and Rick Synowski are having open 
barns Sunday evening.  We will also be having a veteran breeders panel with 
the barbecue Saturday evening. Hot off the press will be the CMK Catalogue 
Vol IV available for purchase.

Everyone is invited and welcome. Try and be a part of this historical event.
