Louise, thanks for sending me the picture! My mare has a lovely head like that, too – I bet it is from her Muscat side.
But everyone, what is type? To me, “type” can be the Crabbet ideal – the athletic, big round butted and handy smaller Arabian horse. “Type” for an Egyptian breeder would be the “tea cup” muzzle? To me, the Russian breeding program has tall, long legged race horses that are getting a little away from the smaller handier Bedouin war mare.
I don’t know, and what does this have to do with endurance? I guess I need to start trouble on another list for this one!
