I found a site for the original trail.

Click on the schoolhouse 
Click on maps and it will give a list
Go to the XP route(not trail) and these great maps are at the bottom.
Check it out. Where Karen has been talking about recently
is right there in the Nevada map. She refers to Dry Creek.
These maps have all of the original stations. Pretty Cool.
