Riding after Lumbar fusion
Cheryl:
My best friend (riding buddy) had spinal fusion, and
spent
time with 2 steel rods in her back (She has
scoliosis.. i.e
crooked spine). This was done when she was 30, and the
rods
were taken out at some point after that.. not sure when
though.
She had ridden since she was a kid, and resumed riding as
soon as she felt she was able,
starting slowly, and has never had any problems (and she's
been dumped a few times) she's 48 now, and still riding.
