apple pulp as a feed?

Anyone out there feeding apple pulp?  Just found a local organic juice mill
that offers free de-juiced pulp...  Is it worth investigating?  Could I put
a pound or two of apple pulp in with their beetpulp, if for no other reason
than their sheer delight?
