You have me there, Truman. The worst we have in that line are usually the
old crocks either on horseback or just hangin' around. But then things
coming out of irrigation canals (like the water buffalo or little kids with
disgusting fish or old boots) can be good for a laugh when we take a greenie
into the farm areas. Funny thing is, 99% of the spooks, in my experience,
are more because the riders expect them. I always go out with the assumption
that there's nothing scary out there and my horses, foolish things that they
are, believe me!
