Did they say whether they were rating them for endurance or racing? It's
been *years* ago, but I went to a seminar at UT where they seemed to be
saying some activities make a horse acidic, some alkaline. Racing was
acidic. Endurance was alkaline. Cross country jumping was alkaline (I
think) Seems like trotting racers may have been acidic. Sounded like the
line was drawn at whether they were anaerobic or aerobic activities? This
was quite awhile back. I could be WAY off in my facts, but the moral is
the same. I wouldn't touch anything that didn't specifically say it was
made for endurance. NOT just "Athletic horses". Angie
