2 100's 1 day
Randy,
I remember when Chris Lingar was riding, mid 80's, and his horse HCC
CHAMBOSK, sired by *Wosk out of Chambray(she's the dam of some top race
horses). The Jim Jones Most Miles Stallion award is to honor the memory
of a stallion Jim Jones rode many years ago, Rowel. Rowel's dam was
Chambosk's grand dam and sired by Toltec, a stallion owned by Kerry
Ridgeway. Something happened to Chambosk and it seems Chris just didn't
ride much after that. The Endurance News printed a story he had written
about how devastated he was to lose this horse. Chambosk was chestnut, I
think, sometimes bucked, and was a very tough horse. Does anyone
remember the article or what happened to Chambosk?? Renie
