Lassen Challenge Cancelled

Hi everyone,

 

I spoke with Sandi Hess, RM for Lassen Challenge. Sandi said that the Rangers won't know till a week or two before the ride, if they will allow it to go on or not.

 

Seems the problem is lack of snow and rainfall. The forest is already very dry, and both Lost Creek & Hat Creek have a lower than normal water level. One or both creeks could be dry by September.

 

This would have been the 20th year for Lassen Challenge.
