Hi Lynne -
I have the flat nose model, still with the double rings. Sometimes, I think
I should have gotten the other nose though (We don't call her "Bull Mama"
for nothin). Yes, they are well made, and the price scared me too, it was
about $80+/-. I also got mine on sale, but sure had to wait awhile! I think
I got it for $60(?). I've had it maybe a year and a half or so.
I like the short shanks and the action of it in general. I put a ring in the
curb strap for leading, but I also use a thin flat halter in case I need to
tie. I got a great pair of beta reins at Equine Affaire this spring.
Where did you get a biothane hackamore bridle? I would love to have one...
