I had surgery on my nasal passages in May & was told by both the doctor & 
hospital not to take ibuprofen nor aspirin for 2 weeks prior to the surgery 
to ensure clotting.   Had a friend that required surgery after a 
hysterectomy because she was not told this & she did not clot properly.

Personally tylenol doesn't help me unless codeine has been added 
:-)  Thankfully codeine doesn't affect me the way it does so many folks.
