Okay, so for those of us that are hoping to move up to 50s at some point,
how do you know when your horse is ready, and what should change in your
conditioning program? Probably my horse is more ready than me! We have
been doing 25s and 30s since June of last year (I think we have about 240 LD
miles). We are almost always "bottom teners" - just want to enjoy the ride!
Recoveries are good, vet scores are mostly As, with a few Bs every now and
then. We're certainly in no rush to move up but some day would like to try
a 50. Just want to make sure my horse is ready. Thanks-
