I am riding my 14 year old horse on Schellbourne 5 day ride this year and 
then he may do Tevis.  He was not broke to ride until last year and did his 
first 50 in August.  Also at Schellbourne, Julie Suhr will be riding her 21 
year old horse who does just fine, thank you.  14 is definitely not too old.  
Remember Rio was 17 when he got BC at the World 
Championships...........maryben
