Susan,
one of the best explanations about what happens and may happen I've read in
the past years.
You hit the point: Since we are giving amounts of elytes, of which we
thought before that they will kill the horses, we never had metabolic
problems.
Currently we are giving 1 oz. each hour, no special brand, but a mix from a
pharmacy (my recipe).
At the first rides the rider was very suspicious, but after some good
results they are trusting me.
