Weight categories

Hi Ridemanagers,

I need some help with something. How do you use your weight categories in
calculating the scoring at a ride? Is there an overall winner calculated
using the categories as handicaps or do you compete within your category? We
are looking for a good method to use here and we are not so happy with the
weights that the FEI use. We realise that as long as they require them, we
will have to use them at FEI rides, but we don't want to use them for our
local rides. We have some very lightweight riders and small horses working
in sand. Not much fun.
