Along with my gal, Val, Trilby Pedersen is my other hero in the endurance
world. The Queen of the Turtle awards, I just think the woman is awesome.
Someone, who was there at the AERC awards in Reno, please tell me what she
said when she won that award for induction into the Hall of Fame (person) and
dressed up as an Arab Sheik. When my wife first saw the picture in Endurance
News she thought it was a for real Sheik. I tried to explain to the wife, in
my own "verbose" manner, that aspect of endurance humor, which I think Trilby
was conveying. I just know, the picture alone, cracked me up.
