I have been riding for 20 years but am just getting started in long trail/endurance. Can anyone recommend some good comfortable stirrups? I ordered the Cloud stirrups once but when I got them they were so huge and bulky I was afraid they would tend to catch on brush etc. on the trail, plus they looked very Western with my english endurance saddle (Solstice.) I have also tried the Flexsteel (flexible bar stirrups) but I found the constant downward pull on the back of my ankles actually caused more fatigue then anything. aignerad@mindspring.com  1-10-01.
