It is off - you must have forgotten to turn it on.
And let me suggest courtesy suggests you keep it off for list serves. HTML
generally requires in excess of double the bandwidth. That means download
times are more than double. There are folks that do not have fast modems and
they are frequently in other countries where telephone time for downloads is
charged by the minute. If html had any added value to what is sent, then
that would be different - but it adds nothing.
Having said that, I also understand aol users may have difficulty shutting
it off if they are using their most recent upgrade.
