Horse search

Hey Heidi!

Good luck on your horse search... my search for my endurance prospect was
probably just as bad as yours.  One notable story.. a 7-8 year old grey gelding
in Grass Valley I went to look at, $500 needs experienced rider, I thought, what
the heck.. it's worth a trip just to see..  when we got there, the owner bragged
that the horse had never seen a vet or a farrier (I couldn't believe this horse
could still walk with how long his toes were), he's real people oriented cuz
there are no other horses in the neighborhood (grreeat).. they had lunged the
heck out of him before I got there so he was plum tuckered out when I saw him...
but he had enough energy to bite Bob on the head when he was checking out his
legs..  Plus when it came time to put him back into pasture, he bit the girl
several times as she was walking him (oh, he always does that.. he's such a
booger).  I decided not to get him. :)
