Hee.Hee....Good Post, Lif!  I've used that....ain't no way to look past
that buckle!  Also sic Bazy on 'em!  If they don't know about Tevis or
OD....they're not worth your time to even talk to! Did you see the
article in Equus on the race betwen Seabiscuit and War Admiral?  I don't
know if you ever "race" the last half mile or whatever for Top Ten
position in Endurance that some of us love, but the description of the
end of that race reminds me of many runoffs I have been involved in.
Ears back, giving it all....after 50 or 100 miles! (Of course, I would
NEVER do this if my horse was marginal)  Just competitive spirit and
heart!  Sunny just LOVES it! I'm not asking him to go...he's  asking
ME!  Must be his racing ancestry. (Samtyr) Makes my little heart go
pitty-pat! <grin> "The sweetest wind is the one that blows between an
Arabian's ears"!
