Pirate Run Disappointment

Well, Rats-en-Farger!  Went out yesterday evening to feed Sunny and he's
got a snotty nose....the yellow runny type!  Back to the house for a wet
towel to scrub up his nose to see what's the deal.  I'm holding his head
up and Joan and I are staring up his nose to check this out.  Suddenly a
big nose-clearing snort!  Got us both right between the eyes.  Well, no
doubt there is a problem....got to see it first hand! Back to the house
for a shower.

Called the vet this morning, then hauled him down there for a look. Yep,
he's got a head cold, fortunately no lung congestion or bronchial
problems, but the prognosis is about a week to clear it up.  Antibiotic
pills twice a day for 10 days.

Howard, I guess you'll have to write the ride report.  I was looking
forward to that beer. 

Ah, well...three weeks to Biltmore.
