Just to set the facts straight - the funding being offered was ONLY to cover
additional
costs incurred with including an FEI sanctioned ride. This funding is being
offered to many
well established rides around the country, it was not targetted at the AERC
championship.
The offer was made on an impulse, during a small committee meeting when the
idea of offering
an FEI division during the AERC championship was being discussed, and the
comment was made that
the ride managers didn't want the extra expense.

There was no conspiracy, and nobody was looking for foreign sponsorship...
