Our horses were 5th and 6th, with 5 of six finishing, the other being pulled after the 2nd loop for a very slight lameness.
Contrary to popular belief, the physiology and biochemistry of the individual horse does not change when we call him an endurance horse as opposed to "flat racer". Simply a different demand that can be properly prepared for.
However, you're welcome to your mythology, if it helps.
As to who is God and who isn't, who knows what and who doesn't, all of that is proven on the racetrack and is simple blather when taken into the realm of misinformed but strident opinion that so typifies this forum.
